PASTOR JOHN COLLINS, LOVE THAT CROSS: THE ROAD TO HELL.....

PASTOR JOHN COLLINS, EVANGELIST: GOOD INTENTIONS DON'T CUT IT

The saying goes “the road to Hell is paved with good intentions.” Superficially, this can mean something to the effect that if you say you are going to do it, do it. If you promise to do it, then do it, or what you say and do is meaningless. Pastor John Collins of Love That Cross Ministries and Pastor John Collins Ministries puts a more complete view on the saying:  You can have all the best intentions in the world, and even act on those intentions and do the right things for people, but if your heart isn’t focused on God and the salvation that is given by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the Cross, and getting closer to Them in your heart and soul, then all the good acts and intentions that you do throughout your life are meaningless, you are not going to make it to heaven, and hell is pretty full of people who had good intentions (paraphrased, Pastor John Collins).

Don’t be lazy in your faith, or have the expectation that you can confess your sins twenty minutes before you die so you can cover your bases.  Saying that you believe in Jesus Christ and God is empty unless you have the full commitment of your heart and the opportunity to act upon that faith.  The road to salvation begins in an instant, it takes a lifetime to continue the path, work out your faith, and face the tests and challenges that build the faith that begins with accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior.  It isn’t just giving lip service says Pastor John Collins.

“It is time to wake up and get right with God. God doesn’t fool around and God will not cease from being God but He will continue to be that great and almighty Lord that sees everything and everyone as they truly are and He will be the one who has the last laugh. It is not okay to take your life, your actions, your words and your feelings lightly. They all matter and they all will be taken into account when it comes to judging your soul. Each person will be judged and each person will either go up or go down and it really is that simple.” (Pastor John Collins, February, 2018).

Pastor John Collins is a down to earth, no nonsense evangelist who has been spreading revival of hope and faith across the United States for more than three years.  Pastor John Collins has a very enthusiastic style of preaching, with a “tell it like it is” attitude without the sugar coating of so many in pulpits today.  As he puts it, Pastor John Collins will grab you by the britches when he preaches.

The Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ have been so twisted and altered in the past 2000 years, Pastor John Collins is determined to redeem the Gospel so that all can hear the word of Jesus as it was taught during the times of Jesus Christ’s ministry.  The fear of standing before the throne of God and being judged upon entering eternity is not being taught at all, instead prominent pastors preach prosperity through our tithes or that the Old Testament doesn’t matter, it’s been replaced by the New Testament, or if we say we were saved on December 25, 1977, we are always saved, and there is no need to seek daily forgiveness for our sins….all of this is wrong teachings of current day preachers, and one day, there will be an accounting says Pastor John Collins.

Pastor John Collins writes:

“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:28 (NKJV).
“It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” Hebrews 10:31 (NKJV).

We live in dangerous times, as have all of those who ever walked this earth. It is a perilous thing to live without faith and it is more dangerous to live without belief in the Son of God than it is to live in a land filled with terrorists and civil unrest. People pay attention to what they can see and people will fear what they can sense can cause them harm but people don’t fear what they can’t see and when people walk without faith then they are blind and without the ability to perceive the danger to their souls.

It is not a time to be casual in your faith. It is time to wake up and get right with God. Each person will be judged and each person will either go up or go down and it really is that simple.

You have no guarantee of tomorrow and you only get this one chance at life so take it seriously and don’t put off until another day your relationship with God. God sent Jesus to die for you and you should be thanking Jesus for the strength and obedience that was in His soul so that your soul could be saved. You should cherish and nurture your relationship with Jesus and praise God always. Come to know what is expected of you and do that. The rules are not going to change and the gospel must be obeyed just as Jesus has said. There will not be favorites given a pass because they are just so cute or so charming. There are lots of good people in hell today and there will be many more that follow. Do what you must so that you are not one of them.

“Jesus answered and said to him, ‘If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.” John 14:23-24 (NKJV).

LOVE THAT CROSS PASTOR JOHN COLLINS

Pastor John Collins reminds us that there is no get out of hell free cards out there.  We need to come to the foot of the Cross and find our salvation, and let Jesus and God do their work in us so that we don’t take our life here lightly.  To do so is certain eternal death….for there is eternal death just as there is eternal life.

PASTOR JOHN COLLINS, LOVE THAT CROSS: WE ARE NOT ALONE

PASTOR JOHN COLLINS, EVANGELIST:  The gift of Jesus.

We are not alone, and we have never been alone, writes Pastor John Collins of Love That Cross Ministries and Pastor John Collins Ministries.  God is with us.  Jesus Christ is with us.  When you look at the birth of a child that wasn’t expected to survive, and that child not only survives, but survives healthily, that is a miracle, and that is the work of God.  Someone is unexplainably cured of a disease that would be a death sentence otherwise, that is a work of God.  When a person cries out in desperation, at the end of their proverbial rope, with nothing left inside them to give, yet instead of giving up, instead of becoming an addict or a victim, they stand strong and continue forward in faith which is strength in knowing Jesus.

“We are bombarded with temptations and are weak. It is easy to be swayed by what you can see, hear, touch, taste and smell. We are creatures that love our pleasures. We are sometimes easily impressed. We are sometimes easily intimidated. We are sometimes easily blinded to the truth…. Sometimes we forget that there is more to life than what we can see and what we seek to control. We need to stop in our tracks and remember the Lord.” Pastor John Collins, February 2018.

Pastor John Collins often speaks of Jesus being everything we need.  Pastor John Collins goes on to say that the challenge for most of us is to come to the realization that we cannot do everything, and we cannot do it alone.  Pastor John Collins will be the first one to tell you he wasn’t always a Christian, that he was so far from the Cross that he needed binoculars to see it, but now Pastor John Collins is so close, he gets splinters in his hands.  What does that mean?  To come to the realization that you cannot do it alone is the way to finding Jesus.  We cannot handle everything alone.  We aren’t meant to, preaches Pastor John Collins.

Pastor John Collins writes:

“Thus says the Lord: ‘Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. Where is the house that you will build Me? And where is the place of My rest? For all those things My hand has made, And all those things exist,’ Says the Lord. ‘But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, And who trembles at My word.’” Isaiah 66:1-2 (NKJV).

He who is poor is he who is humble. He who is contrite is he who knows that he is not without sin. He who trembles is he who is in awe of God.

We are in need of our Savior. We are bombarded with temptations and are weak. It is easy to be swayed by what you can see, hear, touch, taste and smell. We are creatures that love our pleasures. We are sometimes easily impressed. We are sometimes easily intimidated. We are sometimes easily blinded to the truth.

We are in need of Jesus. We are in need of God. We are not alone and have never been alone. Sometimes we forget that this world is bigger than our realities. Sometimes we forget that there is more to life than what we can see and what we seek to control. We need to stop in our tracks and remember the Lord.

We are in need of our Savior. We have been given life everlasting by God in the form and sacrifice of His Son. We need to become humble people who are grateful for the gift. We need to become contrite people who know that we cannot save ourselves. We need to become people who know what is acceptable and good to God and know what we should be seeking forgiveness for. We need to acknowledge our natures and come to the Cross.

Faith is not futile. Faith is not useless. God is not absent nor is He uncaring. God is not imaginary. God is here in your hearts. God is wanting to be your God and to give you the gift of Jesus. God has provided a way for you and for me.

Do not ignore the call of God in your life. Do not let your days pass you by without the love of our Savior. Be proactive in your beliefs and trust that submission to God will indeed save your soul.
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NKJV).

Love That Cross, Pastor John Collins

Pastor John Collins is a dynamic and enthusiastic evangelist.  Awarded Evangelist of the Year from many regions across the globe, Pastor John Collins brings a passion to preaching the word of God and the salvation of Jesus Christ that hasn’t been seen for many decades.  Often, those in the pulpit today are preaching wrong doctrine, looking at the dollar signs rather than the salvation of souls. Pastor John Collins not only calls those people out by name, but he also stands on the Gospel as it was taught over 2000 years ago.  Those principles have been twisted by snake-oil style “prophets” and so-called preachers, says Pastor John Collins, so that now the Gospel is need of redemption from those who use it to serve their own purposes and use God for their own personal gain, instead of bringing the word of God to people in terms of salvation.

Pastor John Collins preaches from the heart.  His no nonsense style, as he says, “grabs you by the britches”, in old time revival-style preaching. Pastor John Collins is not going to preach and tell you what you want to hear, Pastor John Collins is going to preach and tell you what you need to hear to get yourself right with God, to find your way to the foot of the Cross, to seek the salvation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  To Pastor John Collins, it is a matter of eternal life or eternal death, and the choice is ours to make.  It takes giving up our pride and recognizing that God is real, Jesus is real, and we cannot get through this world alone, without the help of a loving and just God.

Speaking from the heart, Pastor John Collins can be heard Sundays at 10:00 a.m. mountain time on Heaven’s Country Radio at www.heavenscountry.com. Daily devotionals and thoughts by Pastor John Collins can be read on Facebook and Twitter.  Pastor John Collins brings an enthusiasm to the pulpit that is matched by no one.  “I get a little loud” says Pastor John Collins, and he gives a presentation of what the Bible represents: Pastor John Collins will “tell it, teach it as 2000 years ago.”  Pastor John Collins loves God.  As Pastor Collins puts it, the Bible is beautiful and everyone needs what it says.  Links to sermons, interviews, radio programs, articles, blogs, and Youtube recordings can be experienced by clicking on the links found within this blog.  Pastor John Collins can personally be reached for ministry, prayer, guest preaching and revival at jc65777@yahoo.com.

PASTOR JOHN COLLINS, LOVE THAT CROSS: FINDING PEACE

PASTOR JOHN COLLINS, EVANGELIST: KEEP CALM, KNOW GOD

Peace is where we find contentment says Pastor John Collins of Love That Cross Ministries and Pastor John Collins Ministries.  Our fast-paced lives make it difficult for us to find peace, a minute alone, within ourselves, and finding peace is when we finally let the little things go and seek calm and the love of Jesus Christ Pastor John Collins elaborates.

Finding peace is difficult because we live in a society that demands our attention every minute we are awake, and sometimes even sleep is interrupted by the drama that happens around us, no matter how much we try to isolate ourselves.  Others may step in to disrupt our thoughts without giving any consideration to what we are doing: the impulsiveness and impatience and attention seeking of others distract us from finding the peace that as Christians, we know is there for the asking.  Violence and discouraging headline news invade our lives every day.  Pastor John Collins cites a statistic that there have been more children killed in schools than the armed forces in 2018, so far.  Peace seems to be so far off when we consider the events of the world around us.  Fear becomes more of the normal than the peace we can find within.

“In order to be peaceful we must be able to claim peace within… I believe that we are not always aware of how much we need peace and of how far away it is from us. We let little things upset us and we let our stress levels get so high that we become agitated people who become sick in our bodies… Yet, peace is where hope lies. Peace is where love lies. Peace is where you find contentment.” Pastor John Collins, February, 2018).

Pastor John Collins writes:

“Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.” Matthew 5:9 (NKJV).
“Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:  looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled.” Hebrews 12:14-15 (NKJV).

People go on vacation to find peace. Many people go and spend time with nature to find peace. Many people close themselves off from the busy schedules they lead to find peace within themselves. It is a crowded world and it is a fast paced society that we live in so we have to make an effort to find peace within it.

We are told to be peaceful with others, to have compassion and kindness in our hearts so that we may walk a walk that is approved of by God. But how can we be peaceful with others and have compassion on others when our own lives are in upheaval? How can we be kind to others when we are not always kind to ourselves? How can we be calm when our natures are not?

In order to be peaceful we must be able to claim peace within. Sometimes we see older people that have come to a place in their lives where acceptance and wisdom have given them peace. Sometimes we imagine that we see peace in others when we don’t feel that ourselves. I believe that we are not always aware of how much we need peace and of how far away it is from us. We let little things upset us and we let our stress levels get so high that we become agitated people who become sick in our bodies.

Peace is a choice. Some people have learned to love drama and seek it or stir it up if it is not present. Drama has become a staple in so many people’s lives that they don’t know how to function without it. Yet, peace is where hope lies. Peace is where love lies. Peace is where you find contentment. We need to get to the place where arguments and frustration mixed with unhappiness is not what is most familiar to us. Peace is not something that we should seek once or twice a year when we go on vacation. Peace is allowing those things that really don’t have value to pass from our lives.

Peace is knowing that bitterness is without value. Peace is knowing that love is better than hate. Peace is letting forgiveness become a part of you. Peace is looking to Jesus and wanting to be His follower. Peace is allowing the pettiness of this world to pass you by as you cling to the Cross. Peace is allowing the Lord into your heart. Learn to live in peace because you want to.

“Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27 (NKJV).

PASTOR JOHN COLLINS, LOVE THAT CROSS: HOLY BIBLE

PASTOR JOHN COLLINS, EVANGELIST:  GOD'S LETTERS

google images

The Holy Bible has been described as “Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth” for Christians.  It contains history, instruction, and advice for daily living that applies to living today just as it did when the scriptures were first written. Pastor John Collins, evangelist and head pastor of Love That Cross Ministries and Pastor John Collins Ministries, cautions us to have patience for those who do not believe in the Bible or who have known the Bible and turned away from what it teaches.  Patience and compassion is needed for those who are lost, and more people turn from the Bible and its teachings every day. We need to hold fast to our faith and the teaching of hope that are found in the Bible.  It has been described as God’s letter of love to us by Pastor John Collins.

Pastor John Collins is spreading revival and hope throughout the United States for over three years. Humans have taken the word of God and twisted and distorted the messages found there to suit the purposes of the people preaching the word, rather than what the intention in.  Bibles have been transliterated and retranslated repeatedly since the collection was first compiled thousands of years ago.  There was a time when only priests were reading the scriptures, and the general population was kept in ignorance of the words meant for all.  One monk was tortured for transcribing and translating the Bible and giving the pages to people so that they could read for themselves.  The results of the translations, transliterations, the restrictions and conflicts have resulted in a Gospel that is in need of redemption itself-Pastor John Collins is committed to redeeming the word of the Gospel so that all can hear the truth that was taught when Jesus Christ had his ministry, as an aside, Jesus based his preaching on the Old Testament scriptures, we have both Old and New Testament documents to draw from, and we are still struggling to understand what God wants for us.  Pastor John Collins preaches God is in the business of saving souls, He is not a genie in the sky who grants us our every wish, says Pastor John Collins.  God demands humility.  Pastor John Collins goes on to say He is a loving and just Father who does care for us and expects us to become like His Son Jesus Christ in our actions and deeds, with that humility.  Jesus Christ is our example for how we are to live our lives and the Bible is the book of directions on how to do this!

“You must not become discouraged by those who choose to dismiss the bible, mock the bible or ridicule your belief in the bible. You must hold to the truth of the word of God because it is the beginning and constant encouragement for your faith as you go through life. Do not reduce the bible to fairytales and nonsense but hold tight to the instruction and wisdom that it contains. The bible is full of truth, history, instruction and hope.” (Pastor John Collins, February, 2018.)

Pastor John Collins preaches that we need to open our Bibles and encourage one another.  The times are changing and hope is coming.  The prosperity that God promises is not the kind that is taught by those like Joel Osteen, Paula White, Joyce Meyer, and Creflo Dollar.  God’s prosperity is based on whether you are doing what you are told, are you serving God the correct way?

Pastor John Collins writes:

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NKJV).

The bible is for believers, not non-believers so you cannot hold all people to the standard in which God holds you. The Christian needs to be excellent and committed. It is no time for lackluster faith and subpar obedience to the word of God. For the believer in the work of our Lord Jesus Christ, it is his responsibility to come to know the word of God, the history of the plan of God and how your own salvation needs to be obtained through a commitment to understanding the spirit of God and applying this knowledge to your own life so that you may remain unstained in this world.

You cannot have the expectation that others in this world will live by your faith or that any will respect your faith in God. The bible is there for you to come to know the expectations that God has for you and for you to become a true disciple of Christ. The rest is up to you so that you may put into practice what you come to know and you do that through prayer and trial and error but with a never-ending commitment to the path of righteousness. You must not become discouraged by those who choose to dismiss the bible, mock the bible or ridicule your belief in the bible. You must hold to the truth of the word of God because it is the beginning and constant encouragement for your faith as you go through life. Do not reduce the bible to fairytales and nonsense but hold tight to the instruction and wisdom that it contains. The bible is full of truth, history, instruction and hope.

It is not for you to judge those who dismiss the bible but to have patience and compassion for the lost. There are more and more that fall away each day so it is up to you to hold tight to what is right, true and good.

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.” 2 Timothy 4:3-4 (NKJV).

PASTOR JOHN COLLINS, LOVE THAT CROSS: SPIRITUAL WARFARE

PASTOR JOHN COLLINS, EVANGELIST: What do you fight for?

So many people believe that this world is the true hell, that we simply have to get through our day to day struggles, make it to the end of our lives, and heaven is guaranteed because we say we believe in Jesus.  Pastor John Collins of Love That Cross Ministries and Pastor John Collins Ministries reminds us that everything belongs to God, but God gave us this world, Earth, to live in, to love in, to experience life in it.  The joys and sorrows, pain and rejoicing that we feel here are all part of living.  Believing in something means to go all in, taking in the lessons that were taught by the original Teacher and making them part of our lives, not simply giving lip service and the shallow belief of occurrence but not of incorporating the action into our very hearts.  That is belief.

How do you interact with the people you come into contact with?  Do you try to impress them with what you’ve done, or do you greet them with patience, kindness, compassion, and a love of people?  How are you raising your family?  Are you interested in a hike along a river, or through a forest, walking in the rushing blue surf, or beside arid canyons with condors soaring nearby? Yes, we have things that we have to deal with as we travel our life paths.  Those are the choices we need to make, because indeed we do have free will, and our choice determines our outcome both here and for eternity, says Pastor John Collins.

“God wants you to fight the good fight. God wants you to seek to please Him and to do the right thing in life. Be charitable, be good, be kind, be forgiving, be loving and compassionate toward others. As you go about doing these things you will have to battle your own demons. We all have them. We all think of the easy path, the shortcut and the darker temptations in life and it is that battle that you must encounter each day.” Pastor John Collins, January 2018.

Pastor John Collins is an influential evangelist living in the United States today. His passionate and enthusiastic sermons will grab our hearts and show us what we need to do in order to grow closer to God and to Jesus.  Too many times churches now fluff the original message of the Holy Bible to suit the needs of the speaker, Pastor John Collins does not, he tells it like it is, whether it makes the listener uncomfortable or not.  Sometimes we need to be made uncomfortable in where we are in our faith, which is what will drive us to work to get closer to the Cross: Pastor John Collins has gone through the fire of tests and trials and will the first to tell you just where he has been.  The Gospel was taught by Jesus Christ over 2000 years ago because man was getting in the way of himself.  After the resurrection of Jesus, over the course of centuries, man has once again gotten in the way of ourselves, twisted the scriptures to suit our own needs and wants instead of turning to Jesus for everything, big and little. Now the Gospel needs to be redeemed, and Pastor John Collins is driven and determined to bring the Gospel and God back to a country that is in desperate need of faith and repentance.

Salvation is the way to fight for your eternal life, but the path is not meant to be a narrow focus-Pastor John Collins (paraphrased).

Pastor John Collins writes:

“The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lords’; But the earth He has given to the children of men.” Psalm 115:16 (NKJV).

God has given you life and you need to enjoy it. As you walk the path that leads to righteousness, you will face many situations that make you realize that it is a battle not just outside in the world and with those you encounter but also within yourself. God wants you to fight the good fight. God wants you to seek to please Him and to do the right thing in life. Be charitable, be good, be kind, be forgiving, be loving and compassionate toward others. As you go about doing these things you will have to battle your own demons. We all have them. We all think of the easy path, the shortcut and the darker temptations in life and it is that battle that you must encounter each day.

So, what are you fighting for? Is it just to get to heaven? That narrow focus can make a person crazy, burn out or just give up. If you cannot see that life has meaning, that you can enjoy life then it is easy to lose your way and fall off the path of the faithful. You have to take the time to live, to feel really alive and to acknowledge that your life is a blessing for all of the struggle. What makes you feel alive? Is it standing in the rain, walking on a beach, riding on a four-wheeler in your swimsuit in the middle of winter surrounded by snow, or maybe it’s a candlelight dinner with your most special someone followed by a dance? Whatever gives you pause and delights your soul is what you should take the time to do. It does not have to be often and it does not have to be so planned that the moment gets lost but you should be looking for those moments in your life that become the memories that you prize. You will take those with you because they belong to you forever.

In your day to day life you may feel run down and overwhelmed with the mundane. In your day to day life you may become discouraged. You need to allow yourself those special moments where you catch your breath and you even need to make the effort to recognize the moments that you have already had and seek out more. That is what you are fighting for in your faith. You see, heaven is full of joy and people who feel that intense awareness of love and hope and happiness every day. You will never truly seek to become a righteous person if you don’t believe in that promise and in order to truly believe in the promise you need to trust and believe in God. It is easy to believe in the truth of God when you can glimpse joy in its perfection in experiences in your life that touch your soul and become engraved on your heart. That is a blessing from God and you should never underestimate His greatness and your connection to Him.

“May the Lord give you increase more and more, you and your children.  May you be blessed by the Lord who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 115:14-15 (NKJV).

PASTOR JOHN COLLINS, LOVE THAT CROSS: HEALING PAST HURT

from google images

PASTOR JOHN COLLINS, EVANGELIST:  HEALING OLD WOUNDS

We all have pain and scars that need to heal.  Because so many have never known the love of God or His Son, that hurt never seems to heal.  That hurt leads to alcoholism, drug abuse, addictions of all kinds, low self-esteem, cutting: there are so many things that we do to ourselves out of pain of living.  Pastor John Collins, evangelist and head pastor of Love That Cross Ministries and Pastor John Collins Ministries, tells us that it is faith in God and Jesus that will heal us.  All we have to do is realize that God and Jesus are there and want us to come to Them, warts and all, and the healing will begin.

Tears and pain keep us from enjoying what God does put into our lives even when we have a little faith.  It is how the enemy, who is Satan, keeps us from that perfect relationship with God.  The child who once trusted Jesus becomes the surly adolescent who is rebellious of parents and church because the realities of life take over with bullying, temptations of being with the “in” crowd, and the examples of Christians that are out there are hypocritical so that a teen doesn’t want to be known as Christian.  The hurt gets buried instead of healed.  The teen grows into an adult, life wears him down, and skepticism replaces what little faith there had been.  Resentment sets in, and the tide of hurt simply continues.  It isn’t necessary.  All that needed to be done was for someone to show some compassion and speak truth of the love of Jesus, the salvation that is there for all of us to ask for.  That’s all that we need to do, says Pastor John Collins, all we need to do is ask-get down on our knees, pray, and ask. Keeping the pride and ego of suffering only gets us more suffering.

“You are worth it. You are unique and you are strong. You are capable of overcoming and you are capable of forgiveness in your life. You are filled with the capacity to be kind and to share love greater than you have ever known. Jesus is there for you and He cares for you. Jesus walks with you and you do not need to feel unworthy, unloved or unwanted, ever. You may have been hurt in life, you probably experienced pain in childhood as well as doubt and fear and awkwardness but that is part of growing and maturing. Life is learning to accept human weakness and human failure, knowing that life is full of lessons. You will make mistakes and you will overcome and you can know that no matter what, Jesus is there for you. You matter. Your heart is capable of healing because you are loved.” – Pastor John Collins, 2018.

Pastor John Collins is speaking truth.  For over three years, Pastor John Collins has been spreading a revival of hope and faith around the United States.  The example of the teen to the adult is the result of an epidemic of pastors having “pastoral separation” from congregations, according to Pastor John Collins. That epidemic is deadly to the salvation of souls.  Pastor John Collins gave an example of a minister who said that he and his wife don’t associate with sinners, drug addicts, and alcoholics, that the minister didn’t deal with “those people”.  News flash-Pastor John Collins calls it out-we are all under grace to repent with a pure heart, and those who are pastors need to be a voice for the voiceless, that there is no separation between sinners.  God doesn’t separate sin, Pastor John Collins reminds us, a sin is a sin in God’s eyes, no matter what that sin is. Healing of past hurts and wounds is not going to happen if the people in the pulpit are not going to step up and do the job right.  God is there and waiting for everyone with arms wide open, and those in the pulpit need to bring that message to the people. All it takes is a pure heart of repentance and to ask.

Pastor John Collins writes:

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 (NKJV).

Sometimes it may be difficult to get over wounds in your life. Sometimes you may not feel that you are valuable. Sometimes you grow up and have left over scars from the process that can lead to low self-worth, addictions, grudges, resentments and self-sabotaging behavior. It can be hard not to blame others and end up blaming yourself for all kinds of things that just lead to more pain. Sometimes it is just so hard to let go of past hurts and to find the optimism for the future and the joy for today. We all hurt and we all struggle. Faith in the Lord is what allows His love to come into our hearts and heal us. Knowing the value that Jesus places on us and the value that God places on us is where true love begins. It is important to know that you are loved without end and that God wants a relationship with you.

You are worth it. You matter. Your heart is capable of healing because you are loved.

“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.” Philippians 4:23 (NKJV).
